Senior Instructor Phil Flateau, 4th Degree Black Belt.
Mr. Flateau began his training in 1984 and has dedicated the last 20 years to training in the art of Kenpo. In 1990 he opened his first studio in Las Vegas which he operated for five years. In 1993 he was accepted into the L.T.K.K.A. and is a personal student of world renowned Kenpo master Larry Tatum. Over the years Sifu Flateau has trained members of the Las Vegas police force, correctional officers, hotel and casino security guards, and border patrol officers. Mr. Flateau now resides in Oregon City, a suburb of Portland, with his wife Linda and their three daughters. Mr. Flateau opened Eastside Kenpo Karate Center in October 2003. Sifu Flateau teaches children and adult classes Monday through Saturday with classes during the day and evening classes.
